Samantha Wallace

After working internationally as a fashion model for several years, Samantha Wallace learned the practice of the Transcendental Meditation technique in 1973, and went on to help her husband, Dr. Robert Keith Wallace, create the first Maharishi Ayurvedic clinics in America.  She has traveled around the world, attending conferences and meeting with traditional and indigenous health practitioners.

In 2004 and 2005, under the kind guidance of Dr. Malte Hozzel, the founder of Oshadi Essential Oils and Alambika, Samantha began her study of Aromatherapy in Europe.

Married for thirty-six years, she lives in a Sthapatya Veda home in Fairfield, Iowa—writing, painting, and creating rare organic essential oil perfumes.

A Message from Samantha:

Though my name has been graciously included in this list of experts, I cannot claim such distinction. However, Maharishi Ayurveda is an important part of my daily life and I hope to continue to learn about it as long as I’m on this planet.

Since childhood I have been drawn to all forms of beauty, and I have come to understand that increasing our inner balance in mind and body through Ayurveda and Yoga leads to that outer balance which is recognized as beauty.
